Tonight : Phosphorescent @ The Independent

Phosphorescent had their gear and their van stolen at the beginning of this tour but it has all been recovered and the band is back in Austin tonight. The band will be bringing their folky, left-field brand of country to The Independent. Doors are at 9 and Shiny Around the Edges start things off at 10.

Saturday : Lightning Bolt @ Mohawk

Austin will host one of the most intense shows you will probably ever see. Lightning Bolt hasn't been to town in over 3 years and we are all long overdue for a dose of their insanity. The show will only cost you $10 at the door ($8 in advance) and you are likely to leave feeling like a million bucks (or you might end with a sore neck and ringing ears). Either way, a good time will be had by all. Let's just pray that it doesn't rain. Pictures should be posted here on Sunday or Monday. Stay tuned.
