Xiu Xiu Premiere "Gray Death", LP Details, Tour Schedule and more

Xiu Xiu will be very busy this year with the release of Dear God, I Hate Myself, which features some ridiculously amazing perks for the super-fans, and a tour that consumes most of the first half of this year.

Dear God will be released on Feb. 23, but pre-orders for a regular-edition of the album are up on Kill Rock Stars right this minute. 21 of 100 of the special-editions will come be hand numbered, silver ink letter pressed, and on 180-gram vinyl. They will also come with a "Xiu Xiu For Life" t-shirt that will be handmade and written a real blood. To sweeten the deal, the albums will come with handmade chocolate. Those 21 will be up for pre-order on Feb. 1 on the band's website. They will run you $40. The remaining 79 copies run you $30 and will be available on both the band's site and Kill Rock Stars. The regular versions of the LP and CD will come with a 12 sticker set designed by J. Morrison and I'm pretty sure they are all featured in the tour poster you see up there at the top of the post.

The band will be coming to Texas in the form of three dates with the band Noveller. They will be playing in Dallas on March 11 at The Cavern, Houston on March 12 at The Studio @ Warehouse Live, and in Austin on March 13 at Red 7.

You can stream the first track, "Gray Death", right now over at Pitchfork.
