Sound on Sound Closing Its Doors

This one brings a tear to my eye (yes, it's a big deal): Austin 360 is reporting that Sound on Sound, the best damn punk record store in Austin, will be closing its doors Oct. 12. They are apparently having a clearance sale right now (which I will be going to ASAP today) and I always find at least one record worth taking home when I peruse their selection. I cannot believe one of the best record stores in Austin is going under. Over the year or so I have been going there, I purchased a sealed copy of Big Boy's "No Matter How Long the Line is at the Cafeteria, There's Always a Seat", JFA's "Valley of the Yakes", and a bunch of other amazing records. It's a shame.
